Homecorp Group CEO, Mr Ron Bakir, has taken out the coveted title of Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2013. Ron Bakir established Homecorp Group in 2004 and the company has since developed more than 1,500 residential homes across Australia and achieved $595 million in sales.

“It has always been my passion to create wonderful businesses and our journey in property has been rewarding. Even through the tough times of the GFC, Homecorp Group has achieved year on year growth.”

The Pines Yeppoon

Homecorp has welcomed the master plan approval of 1000 lots from Rockhampton Regional Council.

The future community affectionately known by locals as the ‘Pineapple Patch’ will be transformed over the next eight to ten years into a fully master planned community. The project site now renamed “The Pines” will become one of the Capricorn Coast’s most aspirational addresses for over 1000 families.

As a ground breaking $500 million development, it will boast magnificent public amenities and more than 10 MCGs of lakes and parkland for residents and the local community to enjoy.

The Rockhampton region is seeing continued economic growth and population increase due to its employment opportunities, relaxed lifestyle and housing affordability. Launched in mid-2014 under its new name and identity, this landmark project pays tribute to the heritage of the site and casts a vision towards an inspirational future.

We expect this community will be home to 3000 people and create more than 500 job opportunities throughout its 10 year construction period. Importantly it will also include the region’s largest builder display village.
